Can my friend check in for me?
Yes, however we require the credit card owner to be present upon check in along with a valid government issued ID. If the owner is not able to attend we require a signed credit card authorisation form to be filled in by the credit card owner. The person checking in on someone else’s behalf will also need to pay the security bond for the room, ranging from $300-$500 depending on the room type.
Why can't I book a 1 night stay on the weekend on your website?
We have a 3-night minimum stay policy on weekends. However, closer to the dates we may release some rooms for a 1 or 2 night stay. Always contact Reception so that can check if the room you are after is available for 1 night.
When do we clean the apartments?
The apartments and suites both receive a daily service where your amenities and towels get refreshed/ replaced. Your room will also receive a light clean and your bed will be made up. If you will be staying with us for 7 days or more, you will be receiving a complimentary full clean.
Is there a washing machine in the suites?
Unfortunately, our suites do not have washing facilities. However, we do have a offsite subsidised laundry serviced at affordable rates. Please enquire with Reception for more information regarding this.
Do we offer parking?
Yes, we do have on sight parking. It is $40 per night or $20 for just day parking.
How do you get to the parking area?
Our car park is located in Foy Lane, which is located directly behind our hotel. When coming up Wentworth Avenue from Elizabeth Street on the same side as Zara Tower, you will need to turn left at Goulburn Street and then immediately left again just before the Vibe Hotel, entering Foy Lane. Our Garage is the last roller door on the left. There is a buzzer located in front of the second roller door that will ring reception to open the garage door for you.
Are your rooms wheelchair accessible?
Yes, however certain wheelchairs do not fit in the showers. You will need to confirm with reception upon booking your room, as the dimensions of each room has different specifications.
How does the parking work?
We use a car stacker. Reception and Zara Tower Staff are the only people who are able to drive the car into the stacker. A waiver form must be completed prior to allowing you to park in the stacker. Without this waiver being completed you are unable to park with Zara Tower. The car stacker has height and length restrictions. Height – 1.9m, Length – 5.2m
Does our room include breakfast?
No, however there are many cafés around Zara Tower that are open for breakfast and lunch.
Can you recommend somewhere for breakfast?
Absolutely! Our team always has great recommendations depending on your budget, and taste. Zara Tower is centrally located near a variety of restaurants and cafes. We are a 5 Minute walk from Crown Street and a 10 Minute walk to the centre of Sydney CBD shopping district.
Do we have single beds?
Yes, each King bed can be split into 2 singles. However, unfortunately our suites cannot accommodate this change.
Do you have shower chairs?
No, however, we are able to hire them at an extra charge. We do have shower rails available.
How many baths/bathrooms are in each unit?
Our suites and 1 bedroom apartments have 1 bathroom with a shower. The 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom apartments have 2 bathrooms, 1 bath/shower and an ensuite with a shower. The penthouse 3 bedroom apartments have 3 bathrooms. 1 main bathroom with a shower and 2 ensuites, the master bedroom has a spa bath/shower and the other a shower.
What is the difference between a 3 bedroom and penthouse?
The 3 bedrooms are located on levels 6, 12 and 13. The penthouses start on level 14 to level 16. Our penthouses feature a larger living space and also the luxury of 3 bathrooms. They also have extra features such as more Foxtel channels and can also accommodate up to 8 people (additional charges do apply).
Can I smoke in the room?
No. Zara Tower is 100% smoke free. Smoking in your room will mean you will incur a $250 cleaning and deodorising fee.
What is the pre-authorisation for?
We take a pre-authorisation to cover any damages which can occur in the apartment.
Suites/ 1 Bedroom – $300
2 Bedroom – $400
3 Bedroom – $500
Penthouse – $500
When does the pre-auth return?
The pre-authorisation is automatically returned once you check out of the apartment, provided there is no damage. The funds should become active again after 7-14 business days once checking out, this can occasionally take a bit long depending on your bank.
Where is the nearest supermarket?
There are 2 convenience stores within a 1-minute walk from Zara Tower. There is also a Coles supermarket located inside World Square shopping centre, which is approximately a 5-minute walk from Zara Tower, or an Aldi supermarket on Oxford St also approximately a 5 minute walk.
Is there dry cleaning?
We offer off site dry cleaning. There is a dry cleaning slip within your apartment which you can complete and give to reception. This is an additional charge.
How do we do laundry?
Our apartments have washing facilities inside the apartment. We provide washing powder for you to do your laundry. We have a laundry service for guest's staying in our Suites, that is very reasonable priced, please ask Reception.
What are additional costs?

Is there a restaurant in the building?
Unfortunately not, however, Zara Tower is centrally located near a variety of restaurants and cafes. We are a 5 Minute walk from Crown Street and a 10 Minute walk to the centre of Sydney CBD shopping district.
Can I have guests?
Yes, however, all guests are required to vacate the building by 11pm.
Can we have a party in the room?
No, Zara Tower has a no party policy. We need to ensure all our guests have a good night's rest. Zara Tower retains the right to evict a guest or visitor without warning, should there be a breach of the terms and conditions.
What happens with lost property?
If lost property is found within the room, the property will be reported to Reception. Reception will contact you regarding your lost property and hold any items up to 7 days. If you have not claimed your lost property, and/or not responded to our correspondence your property will be disposed of after this 7 days.
What is the best way to get to the airport?
We are located approximately 30 minutes from the airport. We offer a private shuttle bus service. Prices are set and can be booked with Reception. Alternatively, we are located near central station which has airport link trains running frequently.
Best way to Darling Harbour or the ICC?
We recommend walking to Darling Harbour as we are only a 15 minute walk away.
How do I get an opal card?
To travel around Sydney on public transport you are required to get an opal card. These can be found and top up at most convenience stores and train stations. Also ask at reception, occasionally guest's will leave their old card with us and we are happy to pay them forward!
